While some would like snow for Christmas, it is not to be this year in Salem, Oregon. However, as this picture testifies, we get snow. It's more like a January thing, however. We just opened a Christmas letter from a Cambodian refugee family we rescued from virtual slavery in Medford back in the late 70's. Our congregation opened its heart to these strangers, -- a mom a dad, charming grade school girls and a baby. The dad, now 69 has just retired and his beautiful daughters have blessed him with about two grand children a piece. It makes a good day that much better!
Here's hoping you are having a happy holiday, too!
