A Replica of the Wright Flyer, which on December 17, 1903 launched manned, powered flight. The original was destroyed following the third flight of that day. I'm amazed at the number of Wright Brothers books available. These quirky bachelors caught the imagination of the world. Their personalities were much formed by life with their father. Two key ingredients were secrecy and a belief in law suits to protect their patents. Had they chosen to share freely they could have spared themselves much pain and continued to create.
