I should have realized from my years of religious upbringing that you can't build a wall on sand.
However, the clerk at the Home Depot assured me that I could so I bought five bags of the stuff.
I laid short course of sand for the first row and then it rained. The Bible was right. The sand was turned into the consistency of wet cement. I checked the bag. Good for putting down pavers, but, of course no mention of a wall. Reminds me of a phrase from WC McCall, "Doggonit, EmmaJean, when I say rock I mean rock!"
