Sorry to say it's time to say goodbye to my '92 Park Avenue. She developed a number of mechanical problems and having a mechanic fix her would cost more than the car is worth. We are going to try being a one car family for a while. We'll see how that works out. Since neither of us work at present, two cars are a convenience, not a necessity. I've investigated car rentals and found that if we have a short term need for two cars, Enterprise will pick us up free. Their rates are reasonable. Weekend rentals are half price. They also have pickups to rent. There are a couple of other pluses. The car you rent is always new. It isn't out there depreciating in the garage.

Craigslist is putting newspapers out of business faster than any other technology, blog or web site by removing their primary source of revenue.
Not that traditional newspapers will be missed much. The Denver Post ran an extremely rare front page editorial blasting Governor Ritter for even allowing unions to sit at the table when negotiating with state workers. The funny part is that every fearmongering claim made by the editorial was refuting by an article printed right next to the editorial. Which makes me wonder if the editorial staff even read their own newspaper.
