Time to End Welfare for the Rich

Know anyone getting welfare? Maybe. Maybe not. Welfare isn't called "welfare" anymore. It would be instructive to research what kind of assistance is available to the poor today. But my focus is on another group, many of them millionaires. They are American farmers. Thirty cents of every dollar they "earn" comes from the American taxpayer. This is an issue now because this welfare is in danger of being renewed this summer in the Farm Bill, which comes up for vote only every five years. It's possible to check your farm subsidies to your friends and neighbors today. Check out Mulch. Marketplace calls this Farm Socialism.
Don't get distracted by the Iraq War from political mischief here at home.

I agree, and would also end ALL subsidies and bailouts that use taxpayer money.

You have to love welfare programs for the rich. One that is often overlooked is Title IV-D of the Social Security Act. Collection services for child support in which the majority of the participants are actually middle and upper-class feuding families.

Check out http://www.nationwideblueprint.com and find out more about the program. States are using to generate revenue instead of simply providing services to needy families. CSE offices are services for the greedy not the needy!
