Spring has come to the Pacific Northwest

My cousin sends out an email newsletter everyday from South Dakota. Currently, the temperature there today is 36. They have three feet of snow on the ground. She can track a rabbit and a pheasant who come to the bird feeder to get sun flower seeds. It will be a while before they see ground level.

Having flirted with us for a couple of weeks, Spring has come to Salem and our yard. We especially enjoy the backyard Forsythia. I haven't blogged too much lately because I have been cleaning up a planting of ivy and removing a copious growth of tree branches. It's raining today, so I've stayed inside so far.
