Our heart goes out to the families of Enterprise, Alabama who lost homes and loved ones. Such storms are not new to my family.
Alabama storms played a big role in our coming into being. Mom was born in Summerdale, Alabama, 173 miles from Enterprise. Mom's family lost their livelihood to killer storms several years in a row. Grandpa finally had enough, and moved the family to Southwest Minnesota. That's where she and dad got together. Without the storms, they would not have met and I wouldn't be blogging.
