Possible Cause

Possible Cause

For about a week I've been suffering from a sharp pain in my lower right buttock which radiates down to my right shin. It has been so bad in fact that I went to see my Dr on Monday. He did some basic tests plus an xray. He speculated that it might be a pinched nerve in the fifth lumbar spine, as he has seen a lot of those. "Sometimes these things go away on their own," he said.
So armed with regular aspirin, I am now waiting out the "sometimes."
How did I pinch that nerve? Well, I am an active guy, but the clincher for me was the corner
structure above. When we completed our stairs several years ago, there were lots of pieces of posts left over. I determined to use them up by making a corner soil retainer. Each piece you see above has been up and down those steps recently. I had to use the drill press cut holes to use as screw anchors then haul them back down and screw them in place. So in my over doing it, this is probably the key.
