When Comcast puts its new rates into effect, they are going to charge $8.50 for basic cable after removing E! and the American Movie Channel. The next step up is $55 per month. Ouch! Before I step up, I am moving into movie rental. The West Salem Library has purchased the American Film Institute's top 100 movies and has a lot of other stuff as well. I've seen eight out their top ten. I haven't seen #4 Raging Bull, or #7 Lawrence of Arabia. I might want to see some of the other top ten over again before I move down the list.
