Red Tail HawkIt has been an interesting week. The political pundit Hawks were ripping Hillery to shreds, gloating over her New Hampshire demise. Even after her victory, many think she faked her display of emotion. Now there is a fair amount of evidence that their vitriol contributed to her success. There was a good discussion of the incident last night on Bill Moyers Journal, available to you now if you want to check it out.
The other incident was in the Persian Gulf. Iranian gun boat shout nasty things at American warships. Some in the Administration warn of serious consequences. Now our Navy has had to admit that the diatribe didn't come from the Iranians.
"You can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time." Apparently, Abe Lincoln's saying even applies to the Hawks writing the news.
