Deal or No Deal

I actually won at Deal or No Deal. I won the casino version at Spirit Mountain Casino. I won $51 and some odd cents. I play casino games just like I would play any other video game: Small sums I can afford to lose.
Winning $51 is dangerous. I once won $42 playing keno. After that, I started believing that I could win at keno. Since my winnings, I'm sure that I have lost that $42.oo many times over, but I haven't repeated the $42.00 win.
Gambling has a hold on people because the casino makes sure you always win. If I lost every time, I would never put another penny in a machine. Neither would you. But we always win small amounts and every so often, just a little more. And some people do win big. It could be us...but the odds are against it.
When I go back to Spirit Mountain odds are I'll try the Deal or No Deal machine. After all, I won once...why not again?
