Gold Finches Return

If you look closely, you can see two or three gold finches at our new feeder. We used to have a sack feeder, but the thistle seed got wet in the rain and kind of froze together. While it's true that Walmart has any number of feeders, I thought it would be kind of fun to see what I could come up with on my own. I finished my feeder a couple of weeks ago, but there are fewer finches this time of year. Today is their first discovery of my handiwork. I imagine I'll see them regularly in the future. Let's hope...
