All the property along the Oregon Coast is taken. But Oregonians of the past were wise enough to require public access to the beach. We discovered the 26th Street Beach Access the other evening. We got supper at the local deli and were wandering the beach front roads until we came to this one. Picnic table, rest rooms and beach access, with a wonderful view of the sunset. Hard to beat!

By the way, don't expect to see this on every trip to the coast. It has been a while since our last sunset.
