Pacific Northwest Summers...

I grew up in Tacoma, went to highschool and junior college in Portland Oregon and have lived in Salem for a couple dozen years. A typical summer brings a few days in the 90's and once in while cracking the 100 degree mark. But the hallmark of living here is that only once or twice in a summer does it fail to cool off in the evenings. Not this year. Last night was the first night in a week that the house cooled off by morning. With all the world's troubles, I hate to complain about such a small thing as a few extra decrees of heat. But I must say this is a welcome relief.
