--with apologies to G who did a nice thing for me by giving me a iTunes gift card. However, from this I learned:
1. to get iTunes to work, I have to enter a county I don't live in as part of my address.
2. iTune files are mp4s which can't be played on an ordinary mp3 player
or a computer which doesn't have a high speed internet connection
3. iTunes customer service amounts to scrolling through problems I don't have
to find a possible e-mail prompt and a message that they will get back to me within 72 hours
4. the answer when you get it is impersonal and not helpful
5. I prefer to talk to human beings on the telephone
6. Walmart's downloads are 12% less
7. It is much less frustrating and far more flexible to buy the cd album which is probably available from Amazon or eBay at a discounted price. Then one can rearrange files to one's heart's content.
