A furious, yet generous reader stepped forward to negotiate with Bales & Brady and contribute $300.00 to ransom our client's property. I was able to drive him and his son to the impound yard where he outdid himself in rescuing his and his family's personal belongings. He was able to rescue 1) the children's coats, 2) his wife' wedding ring and other jewelry, 3) his Oregon Driver's License and 4) a trunk and car full of other property. We had so much stuff in the car we couldn't see his son in the car seat in the back seat. Homeless people carry a lot of stuff in their cars, you see. Our profound thanks! The Legislature is in session. This would be a good time to end this type of towing. More on that, later.
