We try to follow the rule of not bringing anything new into the house without getting rid of something else, but it doesn't always work. On our morning walk we noticed a neighbor who had solved the problem at his house by building shelving attached to the garage ceiling. We decided to try the same approach. The result has proved very workable. We also got a "two for." A had been storing a upholstered chair in our spare bedroom and a full length couch in Bob's garage two miles away. So we rented Lowe's $19.00 truck to deliver our shelving supplies and move out the furniture an interfaith friend.
