Scheduling led to an early Mother's Day on Cinco de Mayo, followed by watching the Salem Stampede take a 130 point victory over the Tacoma Jazz. 
Then, of course, there was cards and gifting.
Sunday brought a trip to the coast.
with food ala Safeway deli. Scenery excellent and food not bad.
Need I say more?
But of course, no trip is complete without whale watching!
A gem of a day and a weekend!
