At one time anyway, more babies were born in March in Salem than in any other month of the year. The hospital put on extra staff in March. Don't know if it is still true, but chances are, it is.We have two March birthday children. They joined us in Salem today to celebrate birthdays, explore the Oregon State capital grounds, feed a few squirrels, take lots of pictures and rejoice in the sunshine. And of course, there were presents and cake, and a good time was had by all!
