Pixie Kitchen Remembered

Do you remember the Pixie Kitchen? (For other views, try Pixie Land ) It was a great little restaurant in Lincoln City on the Oregon coast. Our children remember it as being closed when ever they were in Lincoln City.
And they later came to believe that things we didn't want to do, like visiting "Believe it or Not" in Newport, were always closed, at least to them.

A reminded me the other day that the Pixie Kitchen probably was closed most of the time we went to Lincoln City. Back in the 70s restaurants took a day of the week off. And that day was often Monday. Well, back in those days I was pastoring a church. Monday was my day off, and the day we were most likely to visit the coast. So, honestly, the Pixie Kitchen was actually closed. Want to buy a Pixie Kitchen T shirt or other item? The Pixie Kitchen may be closed, but the gift shop is open!

Hi, gang!

I spotted the post and wanted to invite anyone with a special Pixie Kitchen memory to share it at http://www.romantic-oregon-coast.com/pixie-kitchen.html

I'm sure my visitors would love to hear about them.
