A Reason for Thanksgiving

This picture is a tiny part of a large gift of clothing, shoes, backpacks, makeup and other wonderful gifts given by members of St. Mark's in Salem this April to the Yatima Group Trust Fund orphanage. Dr. Lace informed me that the gifts have been delivered and are in use. The children of this orphanage are so poor that many different children are wearing these items of clothing. Private property is a luxury.

Dr. Lace further reports:
The good news is that the first dorm is pretty much done. The second dorm is coming along nicely. They have a covered cooking area. They are going to build a small vocational center. The boys have been moved out there. The girls next when the other 2 dorms are finished. Clothes and stuff all received. Overall things are going well."
