The pharmaceutical companies have gained control of modern medicine and have only one goal in mind: making a profit. They have bought off congress, infiltrated the agencies that should control them as well as the important medical journals that used to be unbiased. Their people staff and control the thought of agencies like the American Medical Association. Want proof? Just watch your tv set. Who is the major advertizer for most programming? The pharmaceutical companies. Women will remember the failure of hormone replacement therapy which was the in thing a few years ago, until it started killing people. Then there was Vioxx.
Surprisingly, most drugs don't work any better, and most don't work as well as LIFE STYLE CHANGES!!
And what might they be? Lose weight. Get excerise. Stop eating all that saturated fat. But if we all did that, the pharmaceutical companies would go broke!
