This is Betison Mbawandela. I guess I am taking a chance posting his picture on my blog without his permission. But he would be absolutely surprised and amazed to find his picture on the internet. Betison is an AIDs orphan who lives at the Yatima Group Trust Fund orphanage. He doesn't have that much to smile about, but in comparison with other AIDs orphans he has a chance. (He doesn't have his own room, a bed, or much more clothes than he is wearing. His is an extremely primative shower and toilet. He eats meat only occasionally.) I am posting his picture because I received another $20 birthday gift, which brings the total for the orphanage to $260.00. St. Mark has a shower in the planning stages for the children here. Hopefully, I will be posting more about that as well.
