Throughout the month of January Sunday School children of St Mark Lutheran in Salem Oregon bring soup (interpreted loosely) for Marion Polk County Food Share. The congregation tops this off with a "Souper Bowl" Sunday emphasis. Yesterday, we delivered 144 pounds of mostly soup for distribution to area hungry people. Some people donated cash instead of soup. I'll add the total later. So count the generous at St. Mark as winners!
