This plaque is on park bench facing the ocean just south of Depoe Bay, Oregon. In case you can't read the dates, it says
BORN JUNE 20, 1960, SWEPT FROM THESE ROCKS, MARCH 6, 1993. We lived in Oregon on March 6, 1993, and I can assure you that there was no Tsunami on that date. So how did 32 year old Bob manage to get swept from the rocks? Most likely by believing the many signs that say "Danger, don't go beyond this point" didn't apply to him. Life is full of unintended consequences. Can you think of some? Share them in the comments section.
